Nestled deep inside the austere militia station of Tzvi was this small oasis of virtual flora, replete with a real, running waterfall. As one of the smallest in the station this tiny area was blessed with a serenity the other parks didn't have, making it a perfect place to have a quiet conversation away from the noise and music of hallways and cathedrals.
At the edge of the water was a small cart, manned by an elderly Vherokior woman, strangely enough. Although she seemed to be on her own, there was little question that somewhere else on the station her master was waiting, expecting her to bring home every last little bit of profit.
Stacked atop the cart were various plates of cakes and gourmet, boutique chocolates. The smell of thick, rich Amarrian coffee was heavy in the air, intermingling in a wondrous way with the fragrant chocolates on offer. An emerald-hued holographic sign flickered above the cart, wavering in and out amongst the copious amounts of steam spilling upwards from the stove. "Arameiya Vass Chocolatiers" it read.
Ileya Torsii was seated on stone ledge next to the water, eyes carefully darting between the entrances as she waited for the Khanid to pass by.
The place was quiet, but with so many ways in, I didn't want to be caught by surprise. Of course, she arrives in this stunning purple dress, clearly worth a fortune…so spotting her ends up being more than a little easy and…easy on the eye, I admit. I was a bit thrown at first, but she is a Khanid after all…so I guess that opulence is a bit more common. Funny how similar to the Gallente they can be…not that I'd dare offer the observation up.
Ileya raised her head and shot off a smile acknowledging Kimochi's own. She lifted herself from the cold stone, dusting a pair of black camo cargo pants clean.
Or at least as clean as I managed to get them…
"Thanks for coming," she said, once Kimochi arrived within earshot. She gestured behind her to the small waterfall and cart, laughing nervously.
Kimochi nodded. "It's a pleasure. It's been a while since I've taken time out to simply enjoy a drink and a chat."
What was I supposed to say man, c'mon. She arrives dressed like Amarrian royalty and I've picked a pretty fucking awkward place. I figured I may as well just ask straight out if she was uncomfortable.
"Not much...I know, not really up to your dress standards, either....but comfortable, hopefully."
The Khanid smiled. "It's beautiful.. Oh, and don't mind me, I have a habit of overdressing for things."
So, all in all it was a pretty good start…
